We accept Cash, Visa, and Mastercard.
The payment for the trip is not processed until the day of the reservation.
Cancellation & Refund Polices
Grand River Guided Trips & Rentals
If you need to cancel, your trip will be fully refunded (not charged) as long as you are able to provide us with 48 hours notice. If you do not show up on the day of your reservation and you have not called, you will be charged 25% of the value of the trip.
Courses & Workshops
If you need to cancel your spot in a course or workshop, it will be fully refunded (not charged) as long as you are able to provide us with 48 hours notice. If you do not show up on the day of your reservation and you have not called, you will be charged the full value of the course or workshop.
Backcountry Canoe Trips
Weather Policy
If the weather on the day of your trip appears to be inclement please call ahead. Often the weather along the Grand River and in northern Ontario can be quite different.
Trips can be fully refunded or rescheduled at no charge if the weather is not suitable for the trip and as long as you have called ahead.
Treks In The Wild reserves the right to cancel trips if we feel that river and/or weather conditions are unsafe.
Privacy Policy
Treks in the Wild does not share information with third parties. Any and all information collected by us is kept strictly confidential.
Site Use Information
Like many other sites on the web today, we use analytic software to record information about the pages viewed by all of our website visitors. This data includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, connection speed, read time, display time, and number of clicks.
We use this information to compile statistics and to improve our website for visitors. We never share this information with anyone else.
